black's opening part 4 (semi-slav defense - anti-meran gambit 5. Bg5)

This is the anti-meran gambit, a variation of the semi-slav defense. A queen's gambit declined with 5. Bg5, pinning the black knight to the queen. This is in relation to my previous post on the semi-slav defense.

black's opening part 2 (kga - fischer defense)

This is my 2nd posting regarding openings. I'm always in trouble when my opponents use the king's gambit against me, especially in a 3 minute blitz game where time is very crucial. This study helps in making accurate and sound moves against the king's gambit.

Thanks to the brilliant Robert J. Fischer (1943-2008) for this opening.

black's opening part 1 (semi-slav defense)

Here's one of my opening studies based on my blitz games. I learned lots of flaws in my openings, so i decided to go over every opening that i'll encounter.
I'll start with the semi-slav defense, which i should have played on my last game. I will discuss more variations of the openings (for white or black) in the future.
